Adding images and videos to Help Center articles is now faster and more reliable. Media appears in the article as soon as you upload it, with clear upload progress and an easy way to recover if something goes wrong.
See uploads as they happen
Images now appear in Help Center articles as soon as you paste, drop, or select them, instead of waiting for the upload to finish.
A progress indicator shows how much has uploaded and the file size, while you can continue writing in the background. You can upload multiple files at once, and each one stays exactly where you added it, even as you continue editing elsewhere in the article.
If you selected the wrong file, you can cancel the upload directly from the progress indicator and remove it from the article.

Upload videos directly
You can now upload videos directly to Help Center articles instead of hosting them elsewhere first.
The /video command now includes two options. Embed link continues to work with YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, and other supported services. Upload lets you add an MP4 directly from your computer or by dragging it into the editor, up to 40 MB.

Once the upload finishes, the video appears as a player directly inside the editor, matching how readers will see it in your Help Center.
You can resize it by dragging the corner handle, just like an image, and that size is preserved when the article is published.

Recover from failed uploads
If an image or video upload fails, the editor now keeps it in place and shows what happened instead of dropping it.
You can retry the upload from the same spot or remove it and continue editing.

Images pasted from other websites are still copied into your Help Center storage. If that copy fails, the image now stays in the article with an option to retry instead of disappearing.
Chatwoot also warns you if you try to publish, create, or leave an article while an upload is still in progress, helping prevent unfinished uploads from being lost.
When reviewing pending edits on a published article, uploaded videos now play directly in the unpublished changes panel instead of appearing as plain links.
To try it, open any article under Help Center → Articles, paste an image, or type /video.
