Captain responds to everyone in its connected inboxes at any time unless you change these settings.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2 id=\"set-the-audience-for-each-assistant\">Set the audience for each assistant\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>Audience lets you keep an assistant available to everyone or limit it to customers who match your conditions.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>You can use contact details, conversation information, and custom attributes to define an audience. You can also combine conditions with all or any rules. Inboxes without business hours remain available to Captain at all times.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>For example, your team can answer during business hours and let Captain cover new conversations while the inbox is closed. Changing these settings does not remove Captain from a conversation it is already handling in Pending status.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>If your team needs to take over one of those conversations, move it to Open.
